Community Events

Starfest is Academy of Holy Angels annual auction and has been happening for over 20 years. It is our school's largest and most important annual fundraising event, and to top it off, it is a lot of fun! The event happens every April and includes a full-tuition raffle, silent auction, live auction, and fund-a-need. We are grateful for the many community members - made up of mostly current parents - who make this event a success every year!

Funds raised through Starfest directly benefit the programs, initiatives, and facilities that benefit our students, our teachers, and our entire school.

Grandparents Day is one of our favorite events of the year! We welcome over 300 guests to campus for a special afternoon together. The annual fall event includes Mass, program, refreshments, and optional student-led tours of the school.

The Academy of Holy Angels Booster Club supports all co-curricular activities at the school. The Booster Club hosts the annual Steak Fry every fall to build community and raise funds.

The next Steak Fry is planned for Saturday, November 14, 2024. More information can be found HERE.

Our annual Donor & Volunteer Recognition reception is a meaningful way for the school and leadership team to formally honor those members of our community who have significantly given of their talents, time, and treasure to Academy of Holy Angels.

Rock the Lawn began in 2016 as an alumni event and has quickly grown into an all-community summer celebration. The event includes live bands, food, beer and wine, games, and great fellowship. Rock the Lawn brings the entire AHA community together including alumni, parents, parents of alums, teachers, and the Sisters of St. Joseph!

This annual event, held in early summer each year, is hosted by and directly benefits the Stars boys and girls hockey programs. 

The next AHA Golf Tournament is June 12, 2024.

Stars Are Out Tonight is our school's fall all-community party! This annual, family-friendly event has activities for all ages, including free inflatable games, food for purchase, wiffle ball, soccer games, face painting, and much more! The event is hosted by the AHA admissions team and also welcomes visiting middle school families to attend. Following, attendees are welcome to attend the home football game.

The next SAOT is Septemeber 27, 2024.

Every September, Academy of Holy Angels faculty and staff invite parents to Back to School Night. The event orients parents on their students’ program of studies and the new school year. Parents will have the opportunity to walk through their students’ daily schedules, meet their teachers, and learn what each course offers. 

Typically co-hosted by the AHA Parent Association and school administration, parent mixers are a fun and casual way for parents to meet and connect. Often, the 9th grade parents have a special event that takes place on the same night as our Stars Are Out Tonight fall festival.

The Alumnae Luncheon takes place approximately once every other year (in the spring). This special event provides a unique opportunity specifically for our pre-coed alumnae to return to campus and experience AHA again.

The next Alumnae Luncheon will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

The Academy of Holy Angels Activities Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding participants in AHA sports and activities who, through their citizenship and achievements, have brought honor to themselves, their school and the community.  The Hall of Fame also recognizes coaches, moderators and community members who have given of themselves for the betterment of activities at the Academy of Holy Angels.

The last Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Homecoming festivities take place before the annual Homecoming football game. We welcome all AHA alumni and their families to return to campus and show their Stars spirit!
