AHA girls swimming focuses on the 3 T’s: teamwork, technique, and time.

Through strong technique and positive support from the team, each girl can achieve times they are proud of! We are an all- inclusive team and really do go by the philosophy that there is no “I” in team. We give every girl her chance to shine in the pool.  Every swimmer gets a chance to compete and contribute in a significant way.

What is it like to be an AHA swimmer? Captain and four year swimmer senior Katie Cleary answered:

"Swimming taught me how to balance my academics and an activity. Did you know that swimmers have the highest GPA of any sport? Having friends in older grades made me feel like I had someone looking out for me and I knew people when I started school. As a fall sport I started school with a group of friends and that made an impact in my years at Holy Angels.

"You may wonder where our pool is located? We will be practicing at the YMCA in 2012 at the Southdale and/or Blaisdell location (pending scheduling).

"Our team will be transported to these pools via bus- parents only need to pick their students up at the pool!

"Want more info? Be sure to e-mail head coach Beth Nymeyer! Fun camps, pizza parties and summer practices will all be coming soon- don't miss out!

"New to swimming? No Problem! Our coach has years of experience with all levels of swimmers in swimming lessons to club programs. Just get out and try something fun!"
